Peter Haggar, owner of Blind & Shutter Gallery, founded the company in 2001 on Beach Drive in St. Petersburg. As the business quickly expanded, he relocated to 4th Street North, establishing is as a premier provider of custom window treatments serving not only St. Petersburg, but also Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. With more than 26 years of industry experience, Peter has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, customized solutions, exceptional service, and a keen attention to detail.
Under his leadership, the company has continued to grow, now operating out of a 7,500-square-foot showroom located at 1900 16th Street North, Peter collaborates closely with homeowners, interior designers, and builders to create window treatments that enhance both the aesthetic and functionality of each space. His work can be seen in several prominent downtown high-rise residences, including One St. Pete, Saltaire, 400 Beach Drive, and Signature Place.
Known for his hands-on approach, Peter remains actively involved in every stage of the process – from initial consultation through final installation – ensuring that each project meets his exacting standards. His commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and customer satisfaction has fostered long-term relationships and a loyal client base throughout the community.
A St. Petersburg native, Peter is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. A lifelong athlete, he has played tennis since the age of eight and continues to bring that same discipline and competitive spirit to his business each day.
